Massage Monday
Thank goodness I had Sophia booked to come in yesterday morning. My right knee began to bother me on our beach walk Sunday. By Monday morning I needed a cane to walk even just a few steps. Quite painful. Fortunately we had my trusty cane in the RV, the one I used with both hip replacements.
She says that my right knee muscles and those above and below are extremely tight. No exact idea why but perhaps from lifting something and twisting but I don’t recall that or perhaps from my not being active enough. I have being doing between 5,000 to 8500 steps per day. I am in agony with each step. It was not exactly a relaxing massage but boy does Sophia know the workings of a knee and its surrounding tissue. I was ready to head over to emergency at one of the major hospitals but instead took her advice and have been doing dozens of exercises over the day plus ice and ice and more ice. I will give it a few days and see if anything changes.
Colin took a few photos for me to share with you.

Your new hibiscus is beautiful. How very festive your site looks and a great place for watching beach TV and sunsets.
Thank Sandy. Having been here you do know how special this place is.
Lovely pictures and Xmas decorations. Hope you get your knee in shape for the holiday. Would a different shoe or insole help with your posture in walking? All the best!
Actually these are not our Christmas decorations. This is our everyday set up. We have yet to add the Christmas element yet.
Wonderful photos. I agree with the others, your site looks very festive.
Hopefully the knee improves quickly. However there are some chairs that look to be facing some pretty nice views if the recovery takes more than a day or two.
Yes I have been enjoying those chairs and the view.
If you normally take your walks on pavement and you are now taking them on sand that could be the difference.
No, but a great suggestion. I could have something to due with humidity and arthritis or not!
Beautiful pictures – sure hope your knee gets better so you can have some decent beach walks
It will get better but it might take time. You have been thru this a few times as well.
I love the colour of that hibiscus and your place looks really nice all lit up at night. I sure hope your knee is feeling better soon.
Thank you. We will get some proper full yard photos eventually.
Beautiful pictures Colin!!
Hope the knee heals quickly!
Gracias.
