Busy day….
…doing not too much 😉  Thank you for all your comments and emails after yesterdays post.  I actually felt better this morning and I even slept better last night.  I like to think that by writing about how I felt it lifted my spirits somewhat.  Sometimes verbalizing your feelings makes a huge difference.  Way back when I worked in psychiatry we would encourage our patients to express themselves so it was my turn yesterday.
I really did plan on talking about certain things tonight on my blog but that is not happening. Â I finished a book today which was good. Â We had a few phone calls with friends and our financial advisor ( he remains optimistic ) and just now finished a fun and unexpected FaceTime chat with our friend and hair stylist. Â She could not believe how long Colin’s hair is. Â All we can do until the all clear signal is given for business to get back to full speed is wait and be positive.
We got an email today that our bank is closing effective Monday but the ATM and online will still be functioning. Colin actually had a client enquire about aerial photography for the City of Vancouver, great time to do it with little air pollution.  However the helicopter companies have shut down as they are considered non essential.  The company we usually use says he hopes to be flying by July 😯
I was looking online about grocery delivery, it does not exist in this city. Â However there is an online order that can be picked up within a certain time slot. Â A good idea to prevent us from having to enter the store itself. Â Sadly the first open pick up time is about two weeks away. Â I did learn that you can grab that time time slot and keep adding to your online basket until the day prior which is a great thing as I have no idea what I will need two weeks from now. Â We are living in a new world at the moment and need to learn to adapt. Â They do have the first hour of the store open just for seniors. Â Not sure that that is any safer a time than later in the day. Â Although they do say that the shelves have been sanitized, etc. Â Something to ponder.
Just wanted to let other bloggers know that I was able to make some comments a few days ago ( for certain March 28th ) but today I can no longer make comments.  Google must be having a good time messing things up.  Just know that I am reading your posts and I am enjoying them 🙂

April 4 is Day #14 for us….. Some days have been long, other days have been longer and this one will be the longest one of all. Wrap your arms around you and squeeze…..a hug from me to you.
Stay well and stay safe.
Yeah you got out of jail today, the 4th. Please be very careful where you go and take every precaution that you can. I have tears in my eyes, you know how much I lover your hugs. Mil gracias.
FYI I lost my online slot with Superstore as didn’t checkout. I think the secret is checkout then keep adding. I’ve rebooked for two days later. Crap. That’s ok, we don’t really need anything right now except milk and I’ve got canned for now.
Oh that you ver much for that tip. So you checkout and can possible/hopefully add later. Canned drinking milk? Never saw that before but then we never buy milk. They have tetra packs in Mexico which are great.
Something for you to consider: A friend in the States tried going during that old folks hour and said the line was huge. He went back mid-afternoon and there were very few people there. So, for him, at least, it’s safer to avoid that old folks hour.
Interesting. I wondered about going so early and what I would find. For us as well later will be better, plus I don’t like to get up early.
