The next day….

Life is good.  Only the one mouse in the house and it has been caught and the ants are long gone.

Looks like the crab hunt will be ongoing. Carmeh sniffed it out and Caeli has it in her mouth ( bottom of shot ).

Once Colin rescued the crab from Caeli's mouth, he threw it into the ocean. The girls quickly followed. At least this one was caught in front of Tres Amigos.

We got back from the hunt, I mean beach walk and found out workers hard at it. Each palapa cross support was nailed to the wooden rafters.

Colin went up to check it all out. Heavy layers of plastic were layed between the palm fronds. Each palm frond was twinned to the next and to the palalpa cross support beam. Very meticulous work.

The fellows worked until way past sunset using some lights we ( Colin ) set up for them.

We haven’t been here two weeks yet can feel that the temperature is slowly dropping.

At 8:30PM it was down to 69F. Downright chilly we thought.

Actually quite warm when I saw what happening at home in Kelowna. Yikes!

I found out today that Kelowna is in the midst of a heavy snowfall plus they experienced a 4.6 earthquake.  You are all welcome to come visit.

The forecast for our area is 6-12″ of snow by tomorrow night. Wish I was out there with the girls digging in the sand!

Loved your story from yesterday. It brought back so many memories about ants & no see ums & sand fleas and swarms of bees. There’s always something camping in Mexico!! Makes my husband dropping his car keys into the oil tank in the pouring rain yesterday not so bad. He had decided to check the oil in the R.V. in preperation for our Dec. 31st trip. Got them out by using a cut up fly swatter.
