Carmeh update!
She is finally seemingly getting better. In addition to her GI problems and the spider bite she developed an abscess on her anus & another on her tail. The vet helped with that yesterday. She is getting so many meds and cremes and liquid stuff shoved down her throat that we don’t have a minute to breathe. We hope that another 24 hours will be the turn around time.
The vet telling me I have to be stronger than Carmeh.
We couldn't leave Caeli alone ( or rather we would not ) so the entire family made the trip to the vet. Caeli was thinking about chasing these guys as we passed thru the fish market.
As we were already there we picked up fresh dorado for dinner. The vet gave us a new recipe to try.
Carmeh was fine on the panga but Caeli wanted to get off the boat pronto!!
It was so good to get back to the Isla! Not sure I can take the hectic pace of Mazatlan.
The day did not end there but I really need to rest so just a quick update to let you know we are on the mend. More stuff manana!!

Oh, the poor baby! Perhaps the vet is not aware just how strong-willed our darling little dachshund babies can be when they want their own way. lol. I do hope she gets better real quick now. Those little carry bags are so cute. They may never want to walk again when they can get a “carry”.
longdog2…..you are so right, they are so strong willed and it is a real fight to get them to take a pill, etc. This little bags have gotten the girls into restaurants, into a casino once and into a Mexican ruin.

Sandy…always great to hear from you. Those bad were a great buy and so very very handy.
Sounds like a busy stress full day, but Carmeh is on the mend and that is good. Relax now and you can hurry up and wait for her to get better.
So glad she is starting to get better! She is your baby, it would be terrible if something happened.
Sending prayers and warm thoughts to all of you – hoping that Carmeh feels better real soon! Our internet had been out for almost a week. Now I’m gonna read blogs and catch up on what I missed.

Thank you so much for the update on Carmeh. And I’m so glad to hear she is doing better. Sure hope tomorrow is a better day for all of you. I love those carry bags for your girls.
thank you so much for an update on Carmeh…I’m so tired I can hardly walk its now 1am my time but I could not go to bed until I at least peeked to see if there was an update on the baby girl…praying for a fast 24 hr turn around time…hugs my friends
Elaine, you are such a dear friend but go to bed already yet!! I have been online for 4 hours catching up on blogs and replying to comments, bedtime for me now at 10PM. Colin just brought them in from their final wee’s of the night and all is well, no diarrhea today. More meds for Carmeh and then we will all go to bed and hopefully have our first good sleep in a long while. Night – night!
