Amazing start to the day
The sun wasn’t up over the hills yet this morning. I went online to Castanet and found this beautiful sunrise. “Just after 7AM, Gail Bastow snapped a particularly beautiful photo from Winfield Flats, where the red sky was complemented by misty morning fog and frozen ground.” I could not believe how perfect this photo was.
Isn’t photography marvellous. You don’t have to be there, yet you can still enjoy the beauty of the moment.
Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me.

Really am missing the sunrise and sunsets of Mexico although I did see more sunsets then sunrises! Over the years you have posted so many beautiful sunset photos and I have appreciated everyone I have seen.
As always, thank you for sharing your photos with all of us.
Thank you Sandy. You are always so kind. I am grateful that we have shared a few sunsets together on the Isla. Extra special hugs to you and Rex.
One never gets tired of spectacular sunrises and sunsets!
So very true, although I am more of a sunset person.
Sunrises and Sunsets are the never ending beauty that nature gives us for free.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
Well said Rick.
All those sunrise pictures where so pretty but that first once was so stunning! I watched the sun come up and the sky was pretty but we are facing away from the sunrise so it wasn’t as stunning as the picture from Winfield.
Yes that first one is extra special. I need to find out where it was taken. I have always enjoyed your sunrises but location is everything.
