DEC. 21 update….
….Mom’s lungs have refilled with fluid and her heart is missing a beat. She is exhausted and just trying to rest. The operating schedule is full till the 28th of Dec so all we can do is hope and pray. I myself am horribly tired, if you recall I had surgery last July, from which I am still recovering.
I didn’t realize that the hospital Mom is in is so very very high tech and a leader in transplants. A four year old received a new heart & lungs two months ago in a story that was featured on CNN. Mom will have the same Doctor performing her surgery.
She is happy that the lives of two people were saved yesterday and knows that her turn will come soon.
Once again, I thank you all so much for your comments and emails. It helped me get through the last two days.
The weather has clouded in and our high is only 75F, probably a few degrees cooler here on the water. A perfect time for me to just relax and regain my energy.
Last night we experienced the most spectacular sunset....

I can’t believe how quickly I can tire. I wake up full of vigor and start doing things, then suddenly I just have to go rest. Every week is better-I’m just not a very good patient! Still praying for your mom.
