Just a bit more que pasa

This was a sunset shot taken last Wednesday, the 16th. On the left about halfway through the photo horizontally and just about the hills there is a plane taking off. You can also see that the lake is slowly unthawing.

I had to come up with something to try and ‘mask’ Colin’s inversion machine. Way back when, those were our Christmas stockings.  We did however try and fill them with our gifts as well.

I love our Santa tree topper. Hmm I might have posted this before.

Our dining room table display.

I started some Christmas cookie baking this past Thursday. My gosh. Has it really been that long.  It takes forever to cream the butter and the sugar and then the dough becomes so thick as you add flour, etc. Thank goodness I had Colin to take over when I just could not stir anymore. Ones’ body certainly changes as we age.

We ended up with close to nine dozen cranberry chocolate chip cookies. More baking to come.

Is this a newer version of the ugly Christmas sweater?

    Your cookies look delicious!
I love the sunset picture, the splash of pink is eye catching! Silly question….is the lake thawing or freezing?

It was the first time making these cookies. They are pretty good but now I need to compare the to my usual Christmas cookies. Not a silly question. The lake changes daily and right now it is thawing. As of this morning was are watching it change by the minute.

  3. Cute pictures but a couple made us very jealous. You had Blue Sky showing.
I’m certain those Cookies tasted wonderful.
Be Safe and Enjoy the season.

    It’s about time.

    The Air Fryer has made;
    Cornbread
    All kinds of veggies
Ginger Glazed Chicken and Pork Chops, a prime rib,
Peanut butter cookies, choc chips, and banana cookies,
    Pizza
and an egg casserole that was so yummy…

Oh and I am getting one for the RV because one can cook an entire meal in it, and have no mess and little clean up….

Can you please share what type you got? Maybe Santa might want to give me an IOU.

i GOT THIS ONE Air Fyer

AND I also bought myself this set to go with it Accessories

And… I also bought 3 new cookbooks so far which are the “Skinny Taste” by Gina Homolka.

Last night I made the shrimp and they were so perfect and tasty.
This whole COVID stuff has me in the kitchen so much, I need new toys to keep myself passing the days. I think I will be making some turnovers after the holidays to freeze for later on snacks or desserts too. Last time I made them my oldest daughter was 3, so over 40 years ago! Har to believe but… I am becoming more domesticated in these times. Let me know if you get one, we can exchange recipes!
