Thought for the Day: Buddha says…The trouble is, you “think” you have time.

I really believe that because I am older now, that the pups are zapping my energy quicker.  We laugh everyday and get wonderful face kisses, not so many cuddles and as they are too busy discovering life. However my to do lists never stop.

Colin having so much fun.

Two at once.

Such a lovely pose – Carlie, no dots above her eyes.

And yet another toilet paper incident.

They have discovered that they can jump up and get the roll to move and hence more fun for them.

Last night was the last freezing night, so they say. Colin and the girls will no longer be shivering for middle of the night potty outings. They slept close to eight hours last night 😀  So hopefully this will soon be the new normal for them.  I have so enjoyed sleeping the past few nights. We are supposed to get into the mid 70’s weather wise, which will be great for the next few days. The pups really love being outside during the day.  However they tend to eat a lot of grass and the mud underneath. Hopefully this is just a puppy thing and will stop soon.

Our neighbours are doing renovations including redoing their driveway. Lots of noise and dust. His rented machine broke down and it took several hours to get it going again. I think we have had noise from this lot for at least ten day now.

This is how our home looks these days.

Starting to see a few sunsets here and there. The leaves on that willow tree are staring to turn a soft green.

Barb is on her way to pick up Zoey as I write this. Reading your posts I now know what to look forward to or NOT to look forward to!

  2. Our daughter has trained all her dogs that they put their toys away before they go to bed at night. It saves those night-time injuries one gets from stepping on them in the dark.
Lots of Noise going on next door.
Be Safe and Enjoy the pups.

    It’s about time.

Right now I will stick to training them to do their business outside. Down the road we can try toy put away duty. Yes LOTS of noise next door.

Dave’s sister taught me that, when you have pets, you need to put the toilet paper on so it rolls the other way. That way the pets rewind it instead of unwind it.
