One of the joys….

of being an RVer……

are all the wonderful things you see and the vivid smells along the way.

However once in a while ( like the full moon tomorrow ) along comes a challenge.

For several days Colin had been smelling something. Me too I said, but more of a sewer smell or so I thought. We looked and sniffed, got a few other noses involved, finally Warren came along and loudly declared, 'that is a dead smell'.

So Colin started checking here and there, not the sewer, not the engine area, maybe the hot water tank but we are using electric, not propane.  Gary opened a small valve cover and suddenly Carmeh was in there like a dirty shirt with her big nose.  Out came the electric screwdriver in order to remove the panels covering the tanks.  The covers come off and Carmeh goes wild…..

...no further comment.

The smell was horrid! Colin is glad it wasn't a toilet problem, not an easy fix here in Mexico.

Once the rat was dealt with we sprayed the area and maggots with Raid. Tomorrow the huge clean up will begin.

Thank you Mister Google for all the advice!
