No internet…
Equals no blog post!!!!
No internet = no Google!
How often do you Google a day…..
~I googled Vodka jello shots recently!
~As well as, do dogs get bronchitis?
~How to kill maggots?
~A dressing recipe for a carrot salad.
~The date of the International Guitar Festival in Culiacan in March!
~What causes acid reflux?
~Where the heck is Troncones, the new RV hot spot in Mexico!!!
I also rely on the internet to get messages from family re my Mom and to make calls via Magic Jack.
I have learnt that I can download photos into iPhoto without being online. Amazing!
However life continues and we have been busy just enjoying life sans computer.
Yesterday, Tuesday was an overcast coolish day but soon heated up to blue sky and sunshine.. We saw some 5 foot waves but no one was surfing! We were busy over the weekend.
I am currently reading a great book for an upcoming bookclub called INFIDEL by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It is extremely powerful and revealing, look it up!
The beach here has reverted back to more vendors than tourists, just us locals mostly. Back to school & back to work has left the beach empty. We enjoy it but feel badly for the restaurants and vendors. However many of us are expecting visitors over the next few months so there should be a bit more activity.
If anyone is looking for clean but inexpensive accommodation here on the Isla check out this site. I can negotiate the reservations for you. This place is less than a block from the beach and a five minute walk to RV1. There is also accommodation available right on the beach for a bit more money, just a five minute walk to RV2.
The girls are really enjoying their time here.
We haven’t had a special sunset for a while now but last night came close.
MOM UPDATE:
Two days ago the Dr’s decided that Mom should go home today!!!!!!!!!!!!! They claimed that there were too many nasty bugs floating around both the hospital and the long term care facilities and that she would be better off healing at home! Yesterday the nurses told the Dr’s that Mom isn’t well enough or strong enough to look after herself at home so now she is back to waiting for a bed in long term care. I totally agree. Meanwhile she is getting a bit stronger day by day.

Oh my gosh – you go, Caeli, that is too funny! I didn’t know doggies liked peanut butter. I know when I don’t have internet, I go bananas! You’re right – what would we do without Google – you can find anything out about anything anytime! Maybe till they find a bed for Mom, Mom will be strong enough to go home – one day at a time. Looks like fun times with your friends there – that’s what we look forward to when we summer in Delaware – makes for good memories!
Connie….I think most dogs love PB but we don’t give it to ours other than the jar clean up.
Mike…..I have learnt a lot because of Google, never to old to study.
Elaine…or should I say Ms Google!! Mom really isn’t strong enough to even get out of bed on her own. She needs more time to get stronger before going home.
Man, I hate it when I can’t Google just about every little thing that pops into my mind.
Google is my middle name….I google everything…if someone asks me a question and I don’t have the answer I always say ‘google it’….isn’t it funny that anything and everything you want to know can be found on google…love the pics of the fur girls…that is sooooo cute…they are sooo cute…tucker and lilly also love PB…I put it in their kongs for them..keeps them busy for awhile for sure…so glad to hear mom is doing better and getting stronger every day..sure would be nice if she could recoupe at home…away from all the flus and colds out there…maybe just maybe she could if she had in home care? Or do they have that in her area…what a strong person she is..to come thru what she has come thru at her age…I pray she makes a full and total recovery..hugs
Google = I use it every day! 🙂 I love your dogs! Looks like you were having a wonderful time!! I can’t wait to get in my RV and go on my summer vacation!
