Time off!
We didn’t see the sun for two entire days! It was totally overcast, dull & grey, still warm except for certain wind gusts. I hibernated and napped. It was great, finished a few books and seriously thought about making stews and soups and all those wonderful winter foods. Just thought about it mind you, certainly did not act on it.
The clouds lifted last night to give us a sunset.
Our sunsets are more spectacular when the sun sets more to the left. Of course if we were in Mazatlan we would be able to watch the sun dip into the ocean.
Looks like we are back to normal this morning!
In fact it seems that my camera is back to almost normal. Somehow in the last few months my CCD screen has developed several dust spots and was seriously affecting my photos. I put a plea out on the Mazatlan Forum about camera repair and sure enough there actually is a fellow that repairs cameras here in Mazatlan. In Canada repairs start at $100.00 per hour, mine was repaired for 250 pesos ($19.60) with next day service. I was ready to order a new camera online for $200.00. So because I didn’t have to spend that $200.00 doesn’t that mean that I have 2549 pesos to play with today?

glad you got some dull weather so you were forced to relax and rest :)….and of course you have 2549 pesos to play with today…did you even have to question that? lol take care…we moved today..not used to packup and setup so am pretty tired lol…

George……..amazing when use to having a camera around and then not having it…wow, I felt helpless. Glad it was an easy fix.
Shucks, I was looking forward to being a mule! I like the lights on the island-makes a pretty effect.
