Rain, rain, go away and don’t come back!

Yesterday was a fabulous day, more about that later this week.

We knew the rain was coming and it did as well as the cooler temps. There might be snow up at higher elevations tonight. So far our lake is holding but evacuations have started in a few areas not far from us as the river/lake levels rise. We are not too concerned about our lake.

The girls insisted on having the fireplace on. They totally delayed going out to do their business. No way they said. Just after 2:30PM Ciela rang the bells and came to my desk to see why it was taking me a minute to get up. She had to go – now!

Colin’s bucket for his bazooka. Rain filled the bucket today. It is only used if they are barking loudly, for instance at kayakers. It is never aimed at them but close by and the sound of the water is enough to quiet them. So much rain.

So the girls and I slept in. Colin played his guitar off and on and got some detailed things crossed off his to do list. So did I. Hoping for less rain tomorrow as I do have to do some errands that can’t wait. Listening to the rain on the roof makes one very relaxed.
