All over the place

Finally my first sighting of ducklings.  It was getting past dusk so not a great photo but proof that we finally have some on the lake.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are in town for some special flying this weekend. Here they were flying in in groups of three, directly above our heads.

Click here to find out more about them and what they will be doing this weekend. There is also a You Tube video in the link.

The weather has been up and down, mostly dampish and with winds as you can see.

Even the chair was tilted over. We are fortunate that the umbrella never went through our window.

The garden is doing so so. My petunias drowned from all the rain.

These are under a bit of an overhang. Basil, surrounded by lettuce and portulaca.

This pot has cilantro in the middle.

Another great salad with the herbs. Tomatoes still from the store.

I took this tonight through the window.

While Colin did this for the blog.

Yikes! Close call with the umbrella!

  2. With strong winds the umbrellas can become projectiles. Last year ours tipped over in a gust, broke a spike and made a notch in the railing. Beautiful photo that Colin took.

    Love all the pictures.

Sorry the weather’s been so chaotic in your area, this phenomena’s taking place all over earth, but…seems like we have some hope of the climate to be ameliorated —> NEWS, The MIT says ‘ Silicone bubbles placed a LaGrange point 1 could very well help to block radiation from the sun’, thus improving all this mess we have on Earth ( Yahoo’s news as of today ).

The funny thing of ‘ the silicone bubbles placed in space’ is…Scientists have laughed at Zecharia Sitchin when he declared( 30+ years ago ) that an ancient civilization came to Earth( thousands of years ago ) to mine the existing gold, with this precious metal they planed to process it in such way as to make a shield around their planet to block the negative influence of ‘ their sun ‘, hence improving the faulty climate they were experiencing.

    ‘ The 12fth Planet ‘ & ‘ Genesis Revisited ‘ by Zecharia Sitchin <— Love his books !
