Tres Amigos RV Park
Here is is, almost the end of March and the RVers are slowly departing. As of March 22 we were down to 11 rigs. The sun is still shining and the water is great but alas so many are leaving. The good news is that it has once again been another wonderful last 5 months and most of the group plan to return starting the end of October, just a few months away. It has been an uneventful year for RV’s travelling in Mexico and hopefully that means that more will come visit Tres Amigos next season. I know of a few couples planning to come down here to the Isla for their first visit to Mexico.
The locals on Isla de la Piedra are so good to us, catering to all our needs and even our wants, going so far as to bring things from Mazatlan to us here on the Isa if we require it. Sometimes we are just too laid back to take the 10 minutes to go to Centro:) We now even have 2 restaurants open in the evening.
Easter Week known as Semena Santa starts April 1st so that will be good for business. Then about about week later, April 11- 15 it will be Motorcycle week. Things are hopping here at Tres Amigos, on the Isla and in Mazatlan. Yeah Mexico. We do love you.
Before getting our RV, Colin and I use to take 6 trips per year, all over the world, but now that we have found Mexico, we are only travelling here. Tres Amigos RV Park has become our second home. This was our third winter here at Tres Amigos RV Park and our tenth winter in Mexico. Lucky us.
For those thinking of coming to Tres Amigos here on the Isla or even just to Mazatlan be sure to check out my previous blog posts for photos of the RV Park, the beach, the area in general and information regarding insurance, security, travel with pets and how to cross from the USA into Mexico.

TnT…..I think that the older we get the quicker time to seems to pass, it just zips past which is why I always try to remember and enjoy this very very moment.
Bob….thanks for reading and for you lovely thoughts. Glad to know I have readers out there. Hope to meet you in Mazatlan one day.
Doesn’t that seem unbelievable that the winter is almost over !!
And even more amazing is the fact that October is only 7 months away, and we get to do it all over again !!
You sure provided all your readers with some great photos of the beach and the amazing sunsets in your corner of the world.
Like I said before, due to lousy wifi, we were not always able to leave a comment, but we never missed a single post of yours.
Take care … TnT
I know your about to leave for the summer. I want to thank you for taking the time to post your experiances in Mazatlan. Kay and I live in Idaho and winter in Arizona, but Mazatlan is our favorite city. We have been to Stone Island several times and lunched at the resturant next to your rv park. Have a safe trip home and will await your posts for next winter.
