Que pasa?
The lake is still rising…in fact Holiday Park is filling sand bags and making news headlines.

We are monitoring the situation every few hours and are making a plan to leave if we have to. Likely we won’t have to unless it rains a huge amount over the next few days.
On a positive note, I made $48.40 on my new little business today, just by checking in!! Should any of you wish to try the penny auctions for free, no obligation and no cost to your self, just click here and have some fun on me.
Some neighbours had us over for a delicious dinner Sunday, what a treat and so relaxing. Plus we got a few ideas from their home for our new one. Looks like we are putting things into our new home, different lighting, different furnace, etc, that this builder has never done before……stretching him to the limit. It is going to be fun to see it all come together.
Found out this morning that our inverter, the new one that blew, is being repaired under warranty. That means we might have electricity by end of day Friday.

The rain has slowed here, shouldn’t rain much for the rest of the week. Hope you don’t have to leave.
I was wondering if you had to worry about the water when you first said you were moving closer. We noticed that more people in our DE neighborhood have put their homes up on blocks since last summer. We are along the river here. Thank heavens where we are, we’re on a little bit of a hill and don’t have to worry. Hope all works out for the best for you! Love the pic on the wine bottle !!!
Good luck with the rising water and hope you don’t have to move on out!
