Update Personally I am doing well. No injuries other than bruising and stiffness from the awkward fall when the chair collapsed. My neck is rather sore so I am trying to stay off the computer as much as I can. I was able to resume physiotherapy for my pelvis today. Time to move forward.
The only way to do that, is to post the many photos of the parade from last Sunday. A very photos shots are ours, most of these came from the internet. We had a reservation at Gaia in the Machado. I failed to understand that the parade only went down the one side of the Plazuela. Yet another double dang!! However at the end it came back to near where we were sitting in order to disband. In the end we did the right thing and Colin realized that he was unable to get up and walk from here to there to get great photos and nor was I.

Turns out that our wondeful physiotherapist, the best in Mazatlan, Sophia, was seated at the next table with her fiancé.
Getting there was a feat in itself. It took us an hour to drive there. We had a great Didi driver and he got us as close as he could for which he was well compensated. We only had to walk four blocks. Our table was perfect. Sadly our friends had to cancel at the last moment, but we were ever so happy to just be there in the midst of over 60,000 others. Gais was the perfect location to enjoy the ambience.
The Plazuela Machado was well decorated, these were photos taken there.
I hope that you enjoy the various parade photos.

,,and the following from the internet. Not all great screen captures,,,but hopefully you get the feel of the parade.
