Living the best we can during TS Raymond. We now have a waterfront site. Our food delivery person barely got here an hour ago because there is a real lake ( over pulmonia tire height ) leaving Las Jaibas onto the main road.
And now this, taken just 30 minutes ago in Centro…..hard to believe it….

Wow!! Thank you for the updates on TS Pricilla and Raymond. Hard to believe the amount of water in The streets of Centro. Stay safe dear friends, hugs and prayers.
It actually was Hurricane Priscilla that was stalled offshore during high tide and a full moon that created the damages shown in my previous post.
Thanks for the clarification.
Contessa, I’m assuming that when you say ‘ Centro ‘ the meaning is ‘ el centro ‘ which means downtown area of any town or city; Am I wrong ?? Lamento que esten ‘remojados’ y que mas agua venga en el futuro. Es tiempo de mudarse a Nevada donde esta todo re-seco 😁 < —-Practice your Spanish my friend.
In Mazatlan we all say Centro and yes that means the historic city center where the markets, the cathedral, the Plazuela Machado and more.
Contessa, I just saw the link you have placed, for some reason I didn’t see it before & OMG the amount of water collected en el centro is unreal 😳; perhaps a boat to move about would be beneficial.
