Day two on the road went well. We drove 312 miles and all was well. Ferne had a few technical issues to sort out before we left and it all was to the good before we drove away.
We are at the Fletcha station on the turn off to San Carlos. That means no wifi! I am posting this using my iPhone as a hotspot.
I made notes all day long to share with you but I am in the midst of a coughing session and with the wifi situation I am going to eat or not and go to bed early. We did not sleep well last night and I feel worn out.
The girls did better today and managed to sleep a lot but are still unsettled and restless. One is on me and the other on Colin as we drive. Perhaps I can use my iPad to catch up on my posts tomorrow.
Just wanted to let you know that we are well. Tomorrow late afternoon we will be back in the US.
Contessa, Colin,is nice to hear from U guys, bet the rest of your fans are happy knowing about U, as well. Deseo que continùen rodando suave rumbo a casa en Kellowna. Happy travel-time to U all.🌺
Safe travels.
I’ve been reading your blog for years – Just wanted to say – it sure sounds like you have “Valley Fever”. It is in the American southwest, parts of Mexico, & South America. It is in the soil & dust and the spores travel into your lungs thru the wind. It is hard to diagnose & can get very serious if not detected & treated properly. It can last for weeks or even months. Be sure to tell your doctor at home that you have traveled & maybe he should test for Valley Fever. Have a safe trip, take care of your little doggies, & get well soon.
Sorry to hear that the cough is still plauging you. Get better soon.❤️
Years ago I got a prescription cough med for a cough like yours..stopped it dead! Maybe you can see a doctor in the usa if you have time. No issues is good!
Thank you for posting! I suspect a lot of us will breathe easier when you are all on the USA side of the border! Sorry you are still being plagued by that cough…I’m sure you will get it checked out when you get back home and a lot of stress is removed from your life. Please keep safe. Lynn
So hood to hear that you are on your way and things are going relatively good. I know all of you will be happy to see home again. Sure hope you start feeling better.
Everything positive the above friends said. I’ll pay more attention fron today on.
Best to you kids…..(;+)…..kids…
