I know you both love the area, but Colin’s health warrants better healthcare intervention. Consider moving to the border, so you can go across to San Diego hospitals and doctors. It would be a shame to not to try to get Colin the best possible care he deserves. They have one of the TOP rehab hospitals in San Diego.

I’m going by what I’ve seen there and what I know over the years. The SDCH is far better. I only want what is best for Colin because as you know Strokes are dangerous to everyone and one needs rehab balanced nutrition and excellent medical care. 40 years experience and I want the best for you two.

    Hi,
That wall at Las Jaibas is below three stories of new apartments that were almost finished when we were there in March. We stayed in the very back, seemed quiet back there. The spot that Eric is giving you I believe is close to the power panel so he can run 50 amp service. Good luck and well wishes.

Prayers that the storm will move out to sea and not inland. Thinking of you every day.

Den & I stayed in back by wall at las jaibas parking, under trees, nice and quiet, shady and private, albeit not very close to washrooms or pool.
The spot Eric is suggesting is close to power source, bathrooms, palapa but not much shade, and a bit of a ways to pool in front. There is laundry up at front office.
A couple of diners near by, but not that close to ocean front.
The best to you both in your very trying times. I know Colin’s determination and that he will recuperate. Give him our hugs.

Hi there – was just looking at the weather there. Looks like the storm will fizzle out around Baja. You might get some outflow wind and rain. The spot Erik picked in Las Jaibas is rather nice. At one time there was a pretty garden in front of it. When we were there three years ago some of the plants were still living, they just need some TLC. It is quite a ways from the pool though. To get to the ocean just out the front gate, cross the street and walk left to the corner then to the beach. However…the street and sidewalks are paved, but 2 years ago the steps to the beach were still torn up from one of the hurricanes. They might be fixed by now. Our weather here in Vegas will be over 105 for a few days this week, but luckily low humidity. Looks pretty warm there. There are three restaurants at the front of the RV park and an OXXO and next to it a big pharmacy. Do you have your own WiFi if not it is available in the patio by the office. All transportation is available right in front of the RV park. Rafa the maintenance man will be an excellent friend. His English is perfect and he knows how to get ahold of all types of people and services. He might even know some one who can help with Colin if you go to market etc. Can you drive short distances in the day light? Think of you both every day. Glad Colin is improving. And you are doing great too. But you need to take care of yourself too.

      Hi Carol and hi Contessa,
Carol gave you such good advice Contessa. I agree Rafa (Rafael) will be such a good source of help to both of you. SandyM
