Back up to 693 messages in my inbox. Took on Telus ( Canadian telephone company ) today and won the battle of a $149.76CAD charge on my credit card made April 17th. We have not used them since October 2024. Between them and Shaw ( internet ) I have saved just over $300.00 CAD by fighting these charges. However it takes about a total of 4 hours of your life! Hey my friends, be sure that you check all charges on your credit card statement.

Like we did, someone is getting rid of the brush for a better view over the shipping channel. You have no idea how bad I feel about all the work Colin put into creating my personal viewing area and my not being able to use it. I can’t get up to it on my own. Despite all the daily physical things I now am doing, I still can’t get up there but then nor do I have the time.
What I noticed today is that – likely due to the constant wave action, the beach is different today. The high tide is directly into the restaurants. There is no beach, only ocean.
There are no banana boats to be boarded and taken out by boat. In fact there are no small motor boats in the bay. Very few people in the water. Very different scenario for us.

Wow, the waves are spectacular! It’s easy to get lost in just watching them. Double wow for the beach, wonder how much higher it will get?

Contessa, hola; figure U’r aware but, just in case…2 tropical depressions are forming in the Pacific Southwestern area they may bring about hurricanes in the near future. I’m wishing Colin is continuing to improve & U all four are doing well; virtual hugs 2 the bunch.

Hello, how have you two been weathering the storms? Have see pics from friends living in LDM area that was flooding due to all the rain. Your move to Las Jaibas is around the corner, hoping Collin is getting better. Curious minds want to know.
We had two nights back to back of stormy weather. I was quite unsettled the second night. We certainly wobbled quite a bit. Colin slept thru it and I did not want to disturb his well earned sleep. I did wonder if because we were not on jacks but airbags that we moved more than normal. Other than plants and other small debris strewn around we were good. But I did see the reason for us moving for the height of the storm season. It was explained to me by a local that as we are so much further north we don’t get as many problems here.
