…and we are moving at 9AM TOMORROW!!
My eye thing went okay, not perfect. It was difficult for me to keep my eyes open. I think I need a new eyeglass prescription. After the move me thinks. I slept the first day and was off the computer the next day as well.
A special Happy Birthday to Colin which was my eye laser day. Needless to say he was on his own that day – July 22nd. We will celebrate another time….actaully every day is special.
And then suddenly it was Friday the 24th and I had a ton of computer stuff to sort out including two banking issues. The move is not going according to plan but or lovely cleaners cleaned the unit from 10 AM to 7 PM. It was grungy. I saw it tonight and it’s not perfect but way better and acceptable. We will do more cleaning on our own. The property manager is having trouble getting some trades to come in and do what needs to be done. Also I need to replace the second bedroom blinds but can’t find anyone to measure them for me.
Lots of things to do including setting up internet in the new place.
Today I started packing early and it is exhausting. Midnight now, so shower and bed.
We sure have a ton of stuff to be moved. I have 6 people coming to help – for money of course! Should be a smooth move as I am fairly organized….hope to start sleeping at the new place which is 3 floors up, on Wednesday the 29th. Moving from 913 to 1113.
I am now 4 minutes into the next day……Colin needs me to stop the computer so he can sleep…wish us luck tomorrow.

I hope all your help arrives and your move is a smooth one. I had the YAG procedure done on my eyes 4 months after the cataract surgery. Procedure was simple and easy but still have some blurred vision after having it done 12 years ago. Hopefully it works better for you. It will be so nice for you and Colin after the move is finally done and you know you are there for as long as you want to be. Your views are Beautiful and as soon as they get all the fix up done on it life should be good living there. I am Sending Positive Thoughts and Prayers that all goes well.
Burma Suerte! I hope today went well! We had to move in this house and get it painted after we were in with three very little kids. Because things didn’t not go according to plans, unfortunately out trades person did not get almost anything completed… then we hired someone else who came in while we went away with the kids. He did a great job!
Finally stability on the home front. Let us know if the noise level decreases. The late late night noise was something we never adjusted to in our Mexico travels.
More details on the eye lens cleaning please? I am wondering if I might have the same problem in the eye I had cataract surgery on. Happy Birthday Colin!!!!
Belated Happy Birthday to Colin. I do hope there will be cake and ice cream for you in the near future. Enjoy the new place with the happy yellow color in the kitchen and dining room. What a great choice.
I’m happy to hear you’ll be settled for a couple of years and that you landlord is being cooperative. Health issues just keep popping up as we age and I’ve had my share this last year! We just have to stay positive and enjoy life. I hope your move goes smoothly!
