THEY DON’T ALL COME AT ONCE!
In Mexico, the dead come home over 8 nights. Each soul has its own date to return. This is not Halloween.
Oct 27 – Our beloved animals
Oct 28 – Those who left without saying goodbye
Oct 29 – Those the water took
Oct 30 – The forgotten and lonely souls
Oct 31 – The door opens
Nov 1 – Los angelitos, the little ones
Nov 2 – The grown ones who know the way home
Nov 3 – The farewell
This is how we remember. Who will you light a veladora for?
You will always be in our hearts. Thank you for the special memories.

Beautiful artwork and stories!!! The big gets better and better, every time I look at it!
in most of hispanic-speaking countries el Dia de los Muertos is celebrated on December 1st & December 2nd; Mexico seems to be the only country that celebrates it during several days.
